Junior Research Scientist - Plant Health Innovations
We are seeking a motivated Junior Research Scientist with a strong foundation in plant science (encompassing agronomy, microbiology, or biotechnology) to contribute to innovative research projects aimed at improving plant health and disease management within our agritech platform. This role will involve laboratory work, data analysis, and potential involvement in field-based research.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior researchers in designing and conducting experiments related to plant disease diagnostics, biological control, or plant health enhancement.
- Conduct laboratory analyses, which may include microbial culturing, molecular assays, or plant physiological measurements, depending on the project focus.
- Collect and analyze data from laboratory and potentially field experiments.
- Collaborate with experts from different scientific disciplines (agronomy, microbiology, biotechnology) within the research team.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations.
- Stay updated on relevant scientific literature in plant pathology, agronomy, microbiology, or biotechnology.
- May involve assisting with the collection of plant and soil samples during field trips across India.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new research methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge in at least one of the core disciplines (agronomy, microbiology, biotechnology) with an interest in interdisciplinary research.
- Experience with basic laboratory techniques relevant to their field (e.g., microscopy, culturing, PCR, plant propagation).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of agricultural concepts and challenges in India is desirable.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different research areas.
- May require a willingness to participate in field trips within India.
Senior Plant Health Manager - Field Implementation and Training
We are looking for an experienced Senior Plant Health Manager with a strong background in at least one of the core plant sciences (agronomy, microbiology, biotechnology) and a broad understanding of the others, to lead the field implementation and training efforts for our agritech solutions focused on plant health and disease management across India.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale field implementation programs for our plant health technologies across diverse agricultural regions in India.
- Provide expert advice and training to farmers, agricultural extension officers, and other stakeholders on the use of our agritech solutions and best practices in plant health management, drawing upon knowledge from agronomy, microbiology, and biotechnology.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of field data to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of our technologies.
- Develop and adapt training materials and protocols to suit the specific needs of different regions and user groups in India.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agricultural organizations and farmer communities.
- Manage and mentor junior field staff and specialists.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that our solutions meet the practical needs of Indian farmers.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in plant health management, agricultural practices, and relevant government policies in India.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Agronomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, or a related agricultural science with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary plant health principles.
- Extensive experience in field implementation, training, and extension work in the Indian agricultural sector.
- Deep understanding of plant diseases, pests, soil health, and sustainable agricultural practices relevant to India.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Junior Scientific Documentation Associate - Plant Health
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Scientific Documentation Associate with a background in plant science (agronomy, microbiology, or biotechnology) to assist in creating and organizing scientific and technical documentation related to our plant health-focused agritech solutions for a diverse audience in India.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of user manuals, technical reports, FAQs, and training materials related to our plant disease identification app and other plant health technologies, incorporating information from agronomy, microbiology, and biotechnology.
- Organize and maintain research data, field trial reports, and scientific literature related to plant health and disease management in a structured database.
- Work closely with research scientists and field specialists from different plant science disciplines to gather and synthesize information for documentation.
- Ensure the accuracy and clarity of all scientific and technical documentation.
- Assist in the adaptation and localization of documentation for different regions and languages in India.
- Maintain a library of relevant scientific images, diagrams, and other visual aids.
- Support the development of internal knowledge base articles related to plant health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, or a related agricultural science.
- Good understanding of basic plant science principles and terminology across the three core disciplines.
- Excellent written communication skills in English. Proficiency in one or more major Indian languages is an advantage.
